In a shocking road rage incident on June 1, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon faced an assault by a group of women on Carter Road in Bandra, Mumbai. The women accused Tandon and her driver of assaulting three women, including an elderly lady, following an alleged rash driving incident.
Incident Details
The altercation reportedly began when Tandon’s driver, while reversing the vehicle near Rizvi College, allegedly hit three people. This led to an escalation where a group of women confronted the actress, accusing her and her driver of assault.
Viral Video
A video clip of the incident has gone viral on social media. In the footage, Raveena Tandon is seen being attacked by a group of women. One of the alleged victims can be heard saying, “You will have to spend the night in jail. My nose is bleeding.” As tensions rose, Tandon exited her vehicle to speak with the crowd but was allegedly pushed and hit. She was heard pleading, “Don’t push. Please don’t hit me,” and asking not to be filmed.
Police Involvement
Both parties visited the Khar police station to file separate complaints. According to reports, they later agreed to a compromise. The police are still verifying the details of the incident, including the accusations against Tandon’s driver and the claims of assault.
